I am a fully qualified PGA Professional based at Abbeydale Golf Club, Sheffield. I have past playing experience representing Sheffield and Yorkshire at both boys and men’s levels. After turning professional in 2013 I played on the European Professional Development Tour (EPD), PGA Europro Tour, and many other satellite/mini tours. Playing the EPD and Europro Tours in particular gave me some valuable experience touring around different parts of Europe and Africa competing against other professionals all with the aim of reaching the Challenge and European Tours.
In 2017 I decided to do my PGA qualification as I wanted to learn all aspects of the game and develop my coaching knowledge and experience. This for me was one of the best decisions I have made. I really enjoyed the process, during which I won the ‘Trainee of the year’ for the PGA North of England & Wales Region three years running, something that I am very proud of. I believe my experience from a playing background added to my coaching knowledge allows me to help all golfers improve their game.
